Hello friends, it’s another Wednesday, and a blustery one, at that! I was looking at some old emails and notes, trying to catch up on stuff I let slide during these 12 Days of Christmas. I was reminded of some things I need to do, but also some people who need continued prayer. My brain doesn’t always recall these things on its own, so I am glad I started writing more things down.
The fact that God knows my needs – everyone’s needs – before I utter a single word is mind-blowing, isn’t it? He doesn’t need notebooks or apps on a phone. He just KNOWS our every need. Yet, He still wants us to come before Him in prayer. It’s one of the reasons God became Incarnate in the world. Being here in the flesh as the Person of Jesus helps people know God better…because He IS God!
Anyway, I am rambling a bit here. I am just feeling a need to pray more fervently, more intentionally in this New Year. Earthly life is hard, but it is temporary. I long for a taste of heaven, and I find that in my prayer time. So, how can I pray for you this week?
